Chained Beasts Surgeon Preview: Treatments and Upgrades

At a glance

The pre-release Surgeon menu on Night VI shows Lung Implant, Whatever It Takes, Skull Reinforcement and Jack In. Jack In grants Kung Fu in this preview; the options and costs below apply to that early full-game build.

Early full-game Surgeon preview from October 11, 2026. It does not establish availability in the Carthage demo; release values may change.

Treatments shown on Night VI

The early full-game Surgeon menu contains these four readable options:

Option Displayed result Cost or trade-off shown
Lung Implant Gain Third Lung Lose 18 coins in this scene
Whatever It Takes Cure the listed Open Leg Wound and Bad Vibration afflictions Suffer an unknown level-three affliction
Skull Reinforcement Gain Metal Skull Plate No cost specified by the visible card
Jack In Gain Kung Fu No cost specified by the visible card

The 18-coin amount belongs to the displayed Lung Implant choice. It is not a fixed price for all surgery. A card that does not establish a cost should not be read as a free procedure.

Jack In and Kung Fu

Jack In is followed by a Gain Kung Fu notification in the preview. This establishes the acquired upgrade in that scene, without defining Kung Fu’s combat performance or making it the best procedure.

Full-game preview and demo

These are early full-game preview options, separate from the public Carthage demo. Options and values may change for release.

The menu also shows other procedure names, but the four options above are a limited preview rather than a complete surgery list or an access walkthrough.
